Trimming the Tree

'Tis the season! An annual favorite, the tree lighting ceremony is a 26-year tradition at Hammond that pairs our youngest and oldest Skyhawks to help ring in the holiday season. This rite of passage is a symbolic passing of the torch from those nearing the end of their Hammond journey to those just beginning. Choral music helped set the stage as pre-kindergarteners and seniors processed through the Upper School courtyard to decorate the tree. While there was no snow to be found, spirits were bright and the tree spectacular. Let the season begin!
