Welcome Hammond Alumni!
As your Alumni Council President, and an alumnus of Hammond, now is the most dynamic time in our school’s history. Although in-person classes look a little different today, our faculty and staff are still providing the special Hammond spirit to our students. Our Hammond community is truly stronger than ever, as we are better together.
This past year, we celebrated Chris Angel’s last year at Hammond. He has served our community for over 18 years and has impacted hundreds of alumni. Through his leadership, Hammond has exceeded all expectations in and out of the classroom. Our Alumni Council will send the Angel family to Tennessee with a proper and bittersweet Hammond “good-bye.”
We have incredible new happenings at Hammond, including the Innovation Center and renovated Upper School gym. The Innovation Center offers a state of the art learning environment and the Upper School gym renovations provide our student athletes with nothing but the best. We are hopeful fellow Alumni will be able to return to campus soon to see these new facilities.
Serving as President, along with Alumni Affairs Coordinator, Payton Florence, and the newly elected Alumni Council, I know this year will be different than normal, but I know the Hammond community is prepared for this opportunity. We hope our alumni will stay involved by mentoring our students, helping volunteer in our community through alumni sponsored events, serving on the council, attending alumni socials, and of course, giving back to the school through the Annual Fund.
The Hammond Alumni Council is looking forward to a fantastic year and I am thankful to be serving as President.
Go Skyhawks,
Bo Hart
