Skyhawk Championships

When playing a sport at Hammond, our goal is first and foremost to make sure our student-athletes learn life lessons through the competitions they play on the field/court. We expect our athletes to learn how to compete the correct way, handle adversity, work together for one cause, push their limitations to achieve greatness, and to continue to grow as young adults. We want to continue to teach them the meaning of team and that there is something larger than them, individually, in life.

At Hammond, we have been blessed over the years with coaches and athletes that have excelled at the regional and state level. A quick look at the 158 cumulative state championships the school has won, a feat seldom matched by similar independent schools, reinforces this. Congratulations to all of our teams, past and present, who have earned the highest honor possible by bringing home a state title!
