Alumni Spotlight: Robert Scott '00
Robert Scott is a seasoned trial lawyer, who has devoted his entire practice to representing clients who have been injured or wronged by others. In 2010, Robert founded Scott & Wallace LLP with his law partner, Clint Wallace. Since Scott & Wallace’s inception, Robert has personally resolved thousands of injury and death cases.
A former felony prosecutor, Robert is a member of both the Florida Bar and Georgia Bar. He is also a member of the Tallahassee Bar Association, where he formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyer’s Division, the Florida Justice Association, where he is an EAGLE member, and the Capital City Justice Association, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors.
The prestigious law accomplishments began years ago in 2014. At the age of 32, Robert achieved an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating possible. Robert is also rated by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star under 40, a distinction shared by only 2.5% of all qualifying lawyers in Florida. In 2020, he was included in Best Lawyers®, a peer reviewed publication recognizing the top 5% of lawyers in the United States in private practice. He is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum® and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. He is a member of the Top 40 Trial Lawyers Under 40, as chosen by the National Trial Lawyers. He is rated Superb (10.0) by the popular lawyer rating website, Avvo.
When he is not in the courtroom, Robert resides in Tallahassee and enjoys spending time with his wife, Darby, and their two children, Tatum and Boden.
