Jordan Scott Medley ('02) Preps Daughter, Ellison, for Pre-K at Hammond
Emily Brady Bedenbaugh
Jordan started Hammond in Middle School and has precious memories of serving in leadership roles on campus and cheering with the Varsity Cheerleading Team and winning their first state championship.
With her undergraduate and master's from the University of South Carolina in business and public relations Jordan explored a career in marketing and communications, and now she owns an online women's boutique, Charley's Clothing, that marries together her skills and passion for fashion. Being mom to Ellison (4) and Cannon (2) is another major accomplishment, and this year, Ellison will be joining the Hammond family in pre-k. In preparing her for the Hammond experience, Jordan gives the following advice:
"My advice to Ellison has been to get excited. It's a common phrase in our house whenever we are in a new circumstance or environment. I want her to feel confident in change and safe in her ability to learn. I also have told her to enjoy her new friends. It's amazing that I met some of my friends my first year as a Skyhawk, and we are still best friends today!"
