Things continue to add up for our Skyhawk Mathletes! At their most recent competition, both of Hammond’s teams came out on top—Level 1 and Level 2 each secured first place finishes.
Individual achievements were equally impressive:
Yukai Hu – 2nd Place
Robert Shim – 3rd Place
Alex Magargle – 2nd Place
Miguel Shim – 1st Place
In addition to their team success, our Mathletes recently competed in the Georgia Tech Math Contest, going head-to-head with some of the strongest math minds in the country. Miguel Shim made history, earning 1st place overall and becoming only the second student from South Carolina ever to take the top spot at Georgia Tech.
