Meet the Admissions Team

We believe introductions are personal.

At Hammond, we believe introductions are personal, and that an open house can’t fully tell the story of life at a school. That’s why each inquiry and every visit is tailored to the unique needs of a family. The Admissions Team is here to guide you every step of the way from first questions to first day of school.

Carson McQueen Carson McQueen, Director of Admissions, is the proud parent of three Hammond  graduates, two of whom played at the collegiate level. Carson is a product of independent schools and is well-versed on the Hammond experience from multiple perspectives. Most days find her whizzing across campus giving tours, enthusiastically welcoming visiting students, and sharing the Hammond story. Carson is a proud Auburn Tiger, but she's also our number one cheerleader. Coincidentally, she coaches spirit cheer when not showing her own Hammond spirit!
	Janine Lewis Janine serves as Campus Experience Coordinator, rolling out the red carpet, specializing in great answers, greeting prospective families, and shepherding new families through their first year. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Janine is the proud parent of three Hammond graduates, two of whom have completed post-graduate degrees. Janine's enthusiastic smile is the first to greet you at Hammond, and the first to have answers to most any question. After all, she's our best ambassador...one who also coordinates our parent ambassador program. Let her roll out the red carpet for you!
Molly Schultz Molly serves as Admission Associate, helping prospective families picture themselves at Hammond, and making sure their first glimpse is a memorable one. Molly is already raising the next generation of Skyhawks. Sally and Tripp are proud new Skyhawks, with a third waiting in the wings, following in the footsteps of their beloved “LaLa,” Lyn Schultz ’78.  Molly still counts her own sixth-grade school visit among her very best days, and hopes to create that same spark for every family who visits Hammond. When she’s not welcoming future Skyhawks, you may find her around a Mahjong table. After all, Molly knows a thing or two about finding the right fit.
