Plenty of opportunities are available to discover the magic of artistic expression through studio arts, dance, music, and theatre.

Friends of the Arts supports students of all ages and grades. Join us and take a bow.

Greetings from the President

Dear Hammond Family,

The Hammond Friends of the Arts Board is excited to begin this new school year. Friends of the Arts is a parent group whose purpose is to support the arts programs at Hammond through both volunteer work and the raising and disbursement of funds. Through your generosity last year, over $18,000 in membership dues were collected. In these past, Friends of the Arts funds, along with ticketed events, have made possible the following additions to our arts programs:

  • New Art Displays for Barks Hall
  • SMART Board for Lower School Art Room
  • Lower School Instruments and Performance Equipment
  • Lower School Guest Musicians
  • 5/6 grade Music Instruments
  • Middle and Upper School Band Instruments and Music Stands
  • Renovated Drama/Tech Classroom in Bank of America Theatre
  • Kiln Furniture for Pottery Studio
  • Middle and Upper School Visual Arts Demonstration Table, Video Camera, and Monitor
  • Keyboard
  • Contribution to Hammond Endowment
