Roo Daniels

Roo Daniels was a four-year letterman in both football and baseball. Roo broke into the starting lineup in both sports as a freshman and never looked back. In football, Roo had 53 consecutive starts and was named All-State and All-Conference three times. As a junior in football, Roo was named Defensive Player of the Year by High School Sports Report, and was named captain by his peers both his junior and senior seasons. He also shined on the diamond where he was named All-Conference and All-State twice. He was a SCISA Shrine Bowl selection in football and a North-South selection in baseball. Roo was not only a leader on the field, but also in the classroom, and served as Student Body Vice President. He ended his high school career with four total state championships, three in football and one in baseball, before heading to Wofford on a football scholarship. As a Terrier, Roo was a three-year starter and an All-Conference selection.
