🏆 LEGO Master Builders Academy

Calling all master builders! Students will tackle creative LEGO challenges, design amazing creations, and work together to solve building missions. It’s a brick-tastic adventure filled with imagination and fun!
🎨 Creative Girls Craft Fun
Instructor: Bonnie Lynch, Lower School Librarian at Hammond
Saturday, September 26
PK–4th | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | $75
Girls will enjoy a colorful morning of creative crafts, music, games, and a special snack they will help create. Participants will also make adorable projects to take home.

🍽️ Guide to Gracious Dining
Instructor: Anna Mills, Amplified Communications LLC
Wednesday, September 30
1st–2nd | 3:00–4:00 PM | $60
In this offering, your child will learn essential table manners, including how to approach the table, the five uses of a napkin, the rules of passing food, how to manage their space, and even two dining styles! We'll also practice holding utensils properly.
Extended Day for Noon-Dismissals & Select Holidays
Extended Day is available for students in PK–6th grade on noon-dismissal days and select school holidays. Special Days include fun activities and often feature an off-campus field trip.
Important registration reminders:
- Preregistration is required at least one week in advance.
- Schedule changes and cancellations must be submitted at least one week before the Special Day.
- Families will be billed for cancellations made within one week of the Special Days regardless of attendance.
- Rates are available on Hawk Net under the Extended Day section.

Students will enjoy a fall outing at Cottle Farm and pick their own pumpkin. Please send a packed lunch and water bottle. The bus will depart Hammond at 9:30 AM and return no later than 2:00 PM.

Grades: PK–6th
Hours: 12:00–6:00 PM

Students will enjoy miniature golf as they navigate creative obstacles, practice their putting skills, and challenge their friends to a friendly game. The bus will depart at 12:30 PM and return no later than 3:00 PM.

Get ready to sparkle with Skyhawk spirit! Participants will design and bedazzle their own Skyhawk canvas tote bag, using fun materials and plenty of creativity to make it uniquely their own. This hands-on experience encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence while giving everyone a one-of-a-kind creation to take home and show off their Skyhawk spirit! ❤️💙

Homework Club Is Underway!
Homework Club is underway! Students in 1st–4th grade enrolled in Extended Day automatically participate from dismissal until 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, providing dedicated time to work on homework before transitioning to afternoon Extended Day activities.
This year’s Homework Club instructors are:
- 1st Grade: Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Waite
- 2nd Grade: Mrs. Hall and Ms. Davis
- 3rd Grade: Ms. Byrd
- 4th Grade: Mrs. Lowe
Students in 5th–6th grade attending Middle School Extended Day participate in Study Hall from 3:30–4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday.
Evening PLUS Programs
👻 The Great Library Lock-In: Spooky Edition
Instructor: Tiffany Beaver, Middle & Upper School Librarian at Hammond
Friday, September 25
1st–6th | 5:30–9:00 PM | $65
The Great Library Lock-In is back with a kid-friendly Spooky Edition! Kick off the Halloween season with an evening of fun in the Middle & Upper School Library. Students will enjoy pizza, a G-rated "spooky" movie, Halloween-themed games and activities, and more. Pajamas or costumes are encouraged!
