John Elliott Epps '20 Named Volunteer of the Year

John Elliot Epps ’20, a senior at Wofford College, was recently named the Free Medical Clinic's Volunteer of the Year. John Elliot began volunteering in 2022 at the Free Medical Clinic in Columbia, and quickly became known for his willingness to serve in any capacity.

Epps was chosen for the award by a panel of three judges that included Strange, board member Todd Crump, and Development Director Caryn Pumphrey. The panel considered 100 volunteers and based its decision on the impact of their work in and out of the clinic as well as their character.
