Lauren Eynon Wells ‘05
Lauren Wells ’05 has been a Hammond Skyhawk her entire academic and professional career. She makes friends with everyone she meets and is passing that trait to each student she teaches. She became this way from her family, first and foremost, but also from growing up in the Hammond family! In her senior year yearbook, when asked what she wants to be when she grows up, Lauren answered, “a teacher.” After graduating as a 13- year Skyhawk in 2005 she attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in education. Lauren returned to the place where she always dreamed of teaching, Hammond School. Lauren worked to fulfill her dream of becoming a Lead Teacher by beginning her career as an Assistant Teacher. She has now been teaching our students for over a decade. When school is out for the summer, you can still find Lauren on campus leading summer camps and tutoring Hammond students. Lauren and her husband have two children, William who is 1-1/2 and Margaret Grace who is 2-1/2.
