Dancing for a Good Cause

This year, Hammond’s all-school service project was the Dance Marathon in support of Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. Each year, the University of South Carolina raises money to fully fund Prisma Health’s Child Life Center. Hammond students were excited to partner with them again this year. Skyhawks of all ages and grades participated, breaking the 2020 record by raising more than $62,000. Fundraisers throughout the year consisted of bake sales, candy grams, sponsorships, and donor drive donations. Each division held their own celebration. The Lower School held a mini-marathon, Middle School students created Just Dance videos, and the Upper School held an eighty-hour dance marathon. On behalf of the HSDM committee, thank you for helping to support such a worthy cause!
