Private Independent school from PK through 12th grade.

The world is our classroom.

Hammond School strives to provide an international education, programs, and activities in which to increase the School's global profile. Hammond seeks to enhance, enrich and broaden our students' understanding of the world, while also fostering a greater appreciation of the diversity and rich cultural heritage beyond our Nation's boundaries. These opportunities will help our students become productive citizens in today's increasingly interdependent world.
The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.

Country of Study

We see global study and multicultural exploration as vital to the development of tomorrow's leaders. That's why we integrate both into every class at Hammond. Central to this commitment is our renowned Country of Study program, a focused initiative that infuses the culture and diversity of the selected country into every aspect of life at Hammond, from language and art to music and academics. Country of Study, along with other international exploration through the school year, brings to our campus the rich colors, textures, customs, foods, music and diversity of today's global community.

Our yearly Country of Study program gives every student at Hammond the opportunity to fully immerse themselves across curriculum in cultures as diverse as Tanzannia, Thailand, Norway, and Turkey—all without every leaving home.
