After School Programs
Extended Day
Extended Day is designed to be a true extension of the school day for grades PK-6th. Our program extends the Hammond Experience and assists with providing students the foundation they need to develop a lifetime love of learning in a fun, caring, and safe environment.
Extended Day offers students a balance of structured and unstructured time; a chance to relax, enjoy outside time, and to learn in multi-grade level settings. We strive to provide age-appropriate programs with varied activities while building self-esteem through positive interactions. Daily activities are planned in advance, and provide a hands-on interactive learning experience in a stimulating environment. Our program goes above and beyond to address other important aspects of a child’s education, such as character building, literacy, and fitness.

After the School Day
Lower School Extended Day (PK-4th)
Extended Day for Lower School students is open from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., five days a week with maximum flexibility to best accommodate families. Students may choose our drop-in option or anywhere between one and five days each week with variable time options. Middle School Extended Day (5th-6th)
Middle School Extended Day is available to students from 3:10 - 6:00 p.m., five days a week with maximum flexibility to best accommodate families. Students may choose our drop-in option or anywhere between two and five days each week with variable time options. Plus Programs
PLUS Programs are added opportunities for academic, athletic, or arts enrichment … and nearly everything in between!
Our course offerings are designed for students beginning in prekindergarten, continuing through adult, and are open to the greater Columbia community. We offer a wide selection of classes available in group settings and private lessons.
