Anna Penland graduated from Hammond in 2017, and is a junior at Auburn University. Although she has not continued her theater and music career in college, her passion for teaching kids still grows every day.
Daisy Miller, Hammond class of '88, graduated from Converse College in 1992 with a double major in French and Graphic Design. Daisy is currently the owner of Forest Lake Travel and resides in Columbia, SC. Daisy and her husband James have two children, Edwin (8th grade) and Madge (6th grade).
Margaret Deans Fawcett Grantz ‘09, graduated from Wofford College in 2013 as a Business Economics major. She is founder and Director of Development and Marketing at Camp Cole, a nonprofit organization currently building a camp and retreat center for children, teens, and adults with disabilities, illnesses, and other life challenges.
For Walker Williams (’90), it’s about being “all in” … whether it’s pursuing multiple business degrees or carrying on the Skyhawk tradition. A graduate of UGA, Walker holds a BA in finance and an MBA from USC in Columbia where he was a SC Bankers Association Fellow.
Bo Hart graduated from Hammond in '07 and currently works for the Alumni Engagement Team at the Darla Moore School of Business. Previously, Bo worked at the University of South Carolina’s Alumni Association and for Virginia Tech’s Admissions Office and Development Office.
Dr. Zeb Cope '00, a fourth year Obstetrics & Gynecology resident at Michigan State University College of Medicine in Grand Rapids, Michigan, credits Hammond for preparing him to compete and thrive at the next level- in college, on the basketball court and now in the operating room as he pursues his career in Urogynecology robotic surgery.
Reba Hull Campbell '79 is the 2018 recipient of Hammond's Distinguished Alumni Award and Andy Folsom '99 is the 2018 recipient of the Young Alumni Award. Awards will be presented after the first quarter of the Homecoming football game Friday night, September 28, 2018.
