Community Service

At Hammond, community service is a matter of the heart. Each grade chooses and organizes volunteer projects every year. Hammond students enjoy their roles in these projects and often research worthy causes to bring to the school's attention.

Favorite endeavors include:
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Harvest Hope Food bank
  • Children's Chance
  • Finlay House
  • Walk for Diabetes
  • Walk for Breast Cancer
  • Civinette's Camp
  • The Margaret Juan Clinic in Belize, Central America
  • The Pencil Project

Through learning about the school community as well as the larger world, students begin to recognize the contributions they can make as young leaders.
