By all accounts, 6 Degrees South, the 2013 Auction, was a huge success! Great attendance by parents, alums, and friends of Hammond, in addition to an amazing array of items on which to bid, provided the perfect backdrop for fellowship and fundraising ... all for a good cause. The annual Auction is sponsored by the Parents Association, and is the largest fundraiser undertaken by the group. Auction Chairs Mary Boyd and Julie Borden, along with the Auction Committee, helped bring us a taste of this year's country of study, Tanzania. Spectacular decorations and authentic Tanzanian cuisine set the stage for a night we won't soon forget.
