School News - Hammond Students in the News

The Skyhawks wrestled the State Championship title away from Cardinal Newman on Saturday, January 26 at the state finals. Hammond's wrestling team held the State Championship title in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, losing in 2009 to the Cardinals, who have held the title for the past four years.  Congratulations to our wrestlers for their hard work and determination this season, and a 53 to 27 win!
