Manning Library opened its doors in late August donning
a fresh new look following an extensive summer renovation.
It was decided to renovate Manning Library when plans
were made to perform required structural work on Manning
Hall. As a result, the library now has a tray ceiling,
new carpeting, fresh paint and new lighting, all creating
a much more inviting space.
"When students enter for the first time, they
all mention how the space has been enhanced." says
middle school librarian, Katherine Hopkins. Both Katherine
and upper school librarian, Lynn Barron, agree. "The
library now has presence!"
As a testament to the renovations and the collections,
the library has been booked for classes every day since
it opened. For more information about Manning Library,
the renovations, and/or its collections contact Lynn
Barron or Katherine Hopkins at (803) 776-0295.
