Upper School Math Team Captures Top Honors - 01/30/07
The Hammond Upper School Math Team traveled to Orangeburg on Thursday, January 25, 2007 to compete in the SCISA Division I Math Meet. The High School Math Meet is open to students in grades 9-12. Each school may enter no more than two teams of five students each. During the competition, all students take a one-hour multiple choice written math test consisting of 50 questions. Following the test, each team member, one at a time, participates in a speed round of five questions.
Hammond School Students Lauren Sribnick, Shobhit Vishnoi, Walker Hope, William Mounfield, Mac Felmly and Adrian Wilson, captured top honors at the event.
Additionally, Vishnoi placed first in the individual competition.
