Saturday, May 13, sixteen Upper Schoolers and six 8th graders competed in the South Carolina Junior Classical League's State Latin Forum at Wando High School. Although Hammond was one of the smaller contingents at the competition, the team was able to capture 3rd place overall!

In addition, congratulations go to Thomas Hydrick, who was elected President of the South Carolina Junior Classical League, to Madison Kocher, who was elected editor of the organization's newsletter, and to Devon Robinson, who was elected its Webmaster! Because Thomas was elected President, Hammond will host next year's State Latin Forum!
