Hammond students respect and value the
differences and similarities of people from around the globe.
They are taught that in order to behave as a responsible world
citizen, they must be honorable, disciplined, and compassionate.
Each year, the faculty chooses one country
to be studied by the entire school. Members of the faculty
travel to the chosen country to gather information for the
global curriculum. In addition, the School presents opportunities
for international travel. The upper school trip to Belize,
Central America is eagerly anticipated by 10th and 11th
graders. International students and faculty are an integral
part of the Hammond family.
