Lady Skyhawks 2005 State Champs!
The Lady Skyhawks repeated as State Champs on Saturday, October 29, at Heathwood Hall. The Varsity Girls' team scored 74 points and were led by eighth grader Atieno Adongo, who came in sixth place overall. Sophomore Alexandra Metropol came in thirteenth place. Rachel Price, Connell Owings, Margaret Deans Fawcett, Anna Mauldin Speth, and Mason Castles all ran very well to clinch the team's seventh state championship in the last nine years.
The Skyhawks, led by captain John Bethea, came in ninth place overall.
Congratulations to all the runners, Coach Schuch, Coach Greer, and Coach McKee for a terrific season!
