Distinguished Alumni Award
The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes
those who have, over time, achieved excellence in their field
of endeavor, demonstrated loyalty or service in their personal
or professional life, and in doing so, serve as role models
for Hammond’s current students and future generations
of Hammond graduates.
At
last year's Awards Day, the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Award
was presented to Deans Richardson Fawcett ('81). In
presenting the award, Headmaster Adam de Pencier noted,
"Deans is an individual whose qualities of loyalty
and service in her personal life serve as a role model for
all Hammond students, and indeed, the entire Hammond family. Her
tireless devotion to Hammond School, her selfless acts of
giving, and the spirit of Hammond she embodies make her
a natural for this signal honor."
